What's that smell...

The scent is called Mac, and it's a fragrance I'm starting to enjoy more and more. I've never been a fan of Macs, and I most likely would never had bought one for myself. But when your very kind mother offers, you can bear a little shrug and "meh, they're alright" and then suffer through the cold-sweat and nail-biting anticipation of the arrival of a brand spanking new 15" Macbook Pro in all its illuminated-keyboard glory. If a machine could ever be considered sexy...
It often seems my life runs parrallel to those of Penny-Arcade. This comic was posted one month prior to the addition of my hi-tech toy family and demonstrates the
Oath that I too have declared...
Don't worry PC, you're still number one in my heart...until Macs become Sims compatible.

I don't think I ever really saw a singular snowflake as a kid. I always thought wadding paper up into a ball would be a better impression of snow rather than the ornate cutting job. I never questioned it, though, probably because of the pretty hearts people make for Valentine's
Day instead of a more realistic artery lined lump. Our first snow of the year came not too long ago. I'm not crazy about using the word fluffy to describe snow, but a better description fails me. But that's what it was, and only because the temperature was exactly right to allow each flake to fall without merging into it's fellow flakes. I was glad my camera was good enough to zoom in and capture this. The sun melted everything into the usual undefined snow the next day.

Whoa, that's a cool photo. Looks like a pile of broken glass, kinda.
