The Man officially started the 2nd quarter century of his life this weekend. Welcome to being 26. And now I'm not too far behind. We did the dinner and movie thing again. We went to see Dead Silence, but, for lack of a better word, it sucked. These days even if the plot, characters, acting, and dialogue are below sub-par, you can at least appreciate random moments of neat-o special effects. But not in this movie. No, no. There are no special effects. There is nothing terrifying about a ventriloquist dummy that occasionally moves its eyes or head. And I'm not too scared by an old woman with a sinister grin and badly painted face swooping around in the background. Wandering away, and outrageously disappointed by this movie, we somehow found ourselves in the 300 theatre again. It's even better the second time around. And then off we went to a very expensive dinner where The Man got a steak as big as his face and a creme brulee with a little candle. Mmm, tasty!

Nude No More
It's fun ordering new things. It's even more fun when they show up and you have great things to show off. I recently ordered, received, and am now wearing one of five Threadless T-shirts.
I am now the proud owner of Pessimistic or Optimistic, Sharp is Relative, Frequencity, Fishing, and Pillow Fight. I'm a firm believer that you can never have enough interesting t-shirts. I'm hoping to come up with my own design to submit to Threadless and hope it gets enough popular votes to be printed. How lucky these people are to have other people WEARING their artwork! And for only $10 each, that's an awesome deal.

Mmm...Gooey
The Man and I had a great dinner and movie last Saturday. We saw the movie 300. It was violent film, but the violence was artistically done. It was bloody, but not cheesey horror movie style where the blood is the only thing you can see in every scene. I don't see too many movies with The Man because it's hard to impress him with a non-comedy, but this one he really liked. It had really cool music too. Most of it was similar to the music in Troy, but suddenly in the middle there was some great rock music! It went really well with the battle scene. I almost expected them to start playing White Zombie "More Human than Human." We followed the movie with dinner at The Melting Pot. It's a giant fondue feast and it took us forever to eat. And the desert fondue was awesome! Cappucino Cheesecake dipped in dark chocolate I LOVE you!
My spring break officially started tonight. I practically ran out of Boring-Teacher's class as soon as my brochure sketch was finished. I'm glad for the week off. I made myself of list of 'things I want to accomplish on my spring break.' I'm not sharing said list due to the fact that if I just so happen to do nothing but play Guitar Hero I'd rather not have any one point out all the things I said I was going to do, but didn't.
